The Top Fashion Trends That Will Inspire You This Summer

Summer is passing by, but there is always a reason to add some trendy pieces to your wardrobe.

Please do not be afraid of experiments.

The season is characterized by alluring shapes, vibrant colors, and a desire to recapture a carefree lightness in our attire.

MINI MINIS

These are minis that the supermodels of the ’90s would’ve been proud to wear, with well over half of the thigh exposed beneath the brief slip of fabric.

The season’s most viral success was designed by Miu Miu, but choose super-statement hues, designs, or materials to make sure that even though your skirt is short, it still packs a powerful punch.

STRAPPED DETAILS

Forget about worrying about unsightly tan lines this season and embrace the straps, whether it’s a top with multiple straps across the shoulders and décolletage, pants with a strapped waistband crisscrossing across the belly, or even both. Even the ankle strap sandal with ties that wrap up towards your knees, a hallmark of retro accessories, is making a strong comeback.

NEON YELLOW

Neon yellow appears to be one of the hottest colors this summer.  It looks especially spectacular when worn from head to toe. The look-at-me tone does look great as an accessories accent when combined with camel, taupe, or oatmilk tones, though, if you’re really afraid of it.

WHITE SUITING

Suits may have fallen off the fashion radar for a while, but they are making a strong comeback this season. These outfits, which are stark white and have eye-catching elements like waist ties, contrast black hardware, and strong shoulders, should make the idea of going back to your commute much more pleasant. If you want something different than a traditional dress for your wedding, a trouser suit offers a stylish alternative.

FEMININE RULES

Light fabrics and pretty pink shades – from pastel to candy, rose, and fuchsia – provide an interesting, playful point of difference in the fashion landscape for summer. Add as many ruffles, tulle underlayers, or pastel colors as you like.

PLEATED JOY

The pleated skirt is one of the most wearable trends this season. Keep an eye out for the pleated midi. Aside from that, there are no rules. Printed, plain, colorful, monochrome, paired with knits or a bralette – as long as it’s pleated, you’re set. This trend is without expiration date.

CUT OUTS

We all know that cut-outs are nothing new. But wherever they appear on an item, appear to be going nowhere fast, so you’d be wise to jump on board. From Christian Siriano to Nensi Dojaka, designers are slashing silhouettes so you can bare as much as you dare.

BULKY BAGS

While tiny bags may still be popular as nighttime accessories, the biggest, bulkiest totes are sweeping the daytime handbag market this season.

5 Tips for Wearing and Mixing Prints

Adding prints or patterns to the appearance is an easy way to enhance any garment, and there are many different prints and patterns to explore. Whether you want to wear gingham plaid or zebra print leopard print, there are some useful best practices to help you incorporate prints into your wardrobe.

9 popular prints and patterns

Wearing bold patterns or prints can show that you have incorporated your real thoughts into your clothing. The terms “printing” and “pattern” are often used interchangeably, but they have different meanings. A pattern is any repetitive design, and a print is a design that has been printed on the fabric instead of being woven or embroidered. Some of the most popular patterns and prints include:

  1. Gingham plaid is a fabric made of dyed cotton yarn, woven into a checkered pattern that is usually white and another color.
  2. The styles of stripes vary from pinstripes (very narrow vertical stripes that often appear on dark suits) to classic French marinière T-shirts (with unique blue and white horizontal stripes).
  3. The animal pattern imitates the stripes, spots and scales of wild animals. Snake, zebra, and leopard prints make bold expressions, but there are some clever ways to combine them.
  4. Plaid, also known as tartan, is a woven fabric traditionally made of wool, which has now become a common pattern for flannel shirts. Multi-color grids have the function of repeating vertical and horizontal stripes of different thicknesses.
  5. The flower pattern has various flowers. The floral pattern can be very small or large and thin. They can be multicolor or monochromatic. Because they provide many kinds, they are interesting patterns.
  6. Dots are patterns that repeat circles of the same size. They can be large or small. Smaller points look more neutral, while larger points are more indicative.
  7. Geometric patterns have shapes such as triangles, squares and trapezoids. They can be complex, repetitive or more abstract. The houndstooth is an example of a geometric pattern that repeats two colors.
  8. Paisley (Paisley) is a Persian pattern with a water drop design with curved points. The interior of the teardrop usually contains intricate geometric or floral inspired designs. You may find paisley printed on silk such as ties and scarves.
  9. Herringbone is a fabric (usually a twill fabric) with a V-shaped weave and repeating pattern, with the appearance of a fish skeleton.

5 tips for wearing prints

Mixed printing allows you to open up a new world of interesting clothing ideas, beyond the standard monochrome button shirts and denim jeans. Consider the following techniques for mixing prints: Start with foundation printing. The foundation printing is a classic, simple printing that can easily be integrated into your clothing. These prints include stripes, dots, floral and animal prints. You can match any of these prints with the neutral colors in the capsule wardrobe.

Layer. The easiest way to mix prints into your current wardrobe is to find prints that can be layered with other items in the clothes. From wearing a solid color to a paisley jumpsuit, this can be a daunting leap, but layering allows you to comfortably incorporate bold prints into the look.

Reduce the conflict printing effect. Sometimes, you may question whether you have gone too far with mixed prints. Take a look at the pattern on your clothes. Do you incorporate classic prints in your appearance, or are the patterns more modern? If you are worried that the appearance of bold color mixing is too complicated, you can solve it by the following simple method: layering. If you don’t want to wear a playboy print, please wear a sweater, pullover or blazer over the print. To avoid conflicts in the future, please mix bold prints that follow a similar color palette or color scheme. Mix with checkered cloth. Checkered patterns are contemporary prints, and you can superimpose on other prints to create a low-key hybrid print look. Layering a checked button top with a striped vest is a great way to match the collision pattern. This can be a chic way to show that you know exactly your style.

Experiment. When mixing patterns and prints, try different looks until you find the right one. When you use different looks, please pay attention to the color tone, color series and the size of the pattern. Ask yourself some questions: Is it comfortable to wear bold colors? Does the mix of modes feel too extreme? Or does the mix of different patterns and prints represent you perfectly? No matter what kind of pairing you create, you must wear clothes that suit you.
